Royal Barge Procession
Organised by the navy as part of celebrations to mark His Majesty the King’s 85th birthday on December 5 and including a “kathin” ceremony, a traditional royal Buddhist rite to mark the end of Buddhist Lent, the Royal Barge Procession made its way down the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok this afternoon.
